New year -2021

 Hi friends,

Wish you all A happy and healthy new year.  This year, I am doing a wonderful thing till today. I took up a challenge to hone my kolam skills during this margazhi.  Today is day 17 and I had put some old and traditional as well as some new kolams for margazhi.

I will share margazhi months kolam in the next post.

Today i wanted to share my new year rangoli. In the previous posts ,I have always told that I dont like to color my kolams but this year I wanted to do that too.

When looking for kolams, I saw some paithani saree kolams ,which I loved. I wanted to do something different in a 3d setting.  I arrived at 1 or 2 designs . 

My mother is crazy about checked border sarees and this kolams color combination and the checked border is a dedication to her. She loved the look of it as soon as I completed it .

Finally achieved something which I didn't even try few months back.
